Terms and Conditions
These terms govern the use of the Taskfly marketplace in the Netherlands, by both Task Posters and Helpers.
1. Nature of the platform
Taskfly is a peer-to-peer technology platform and two-sided digital marketplace. Taskfly provides introductions, communication tools and task discovery. Taskfly does not perform tasks, does not employ Helpers and is not a party to the agreement made between a Task Poster and a Helper.
2. Task Posters
Task Posters create localized casual task requests and define the task details, proposed compensation, preferred timing and location. Task Posters are responsible for the accuracy and legality of what they request.
3. Helpers
Helpers are independent, self-directed users who browse available regional opportunities and voluntarily choose whether to fulfil a request. Helpers set their own availability and act entirely at their own discretion. Helpers are not employees, staff or agents of Taskfly.
4. Compensation
Task Posters set the compensation themselves and may offer any reasonable amount that matches the effort involved, from small errands to full-day requests. All amounts are shown and settled in euro (€).
5. Allowed casual requests
Casual, practical everyday activities that do not require regulated licensing or specialized professional certification: groceries and errands, package or pharmacy pickup, queueing, watering plants, pet assistance, moving light items and similar neighbourly support.
6. Prohibited professional scope
Regulated professional work requiring specialized qualifications or municipal permits is strictly prohibited, including legal, medical, financial, accounting, engineering, licensed construction trade work and structural consulting. Illegal, unsafe, discriminatory or dangerous requests are also prohibited.
7. Geographic availability
Taskfly is available across the Netherlands, including Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht, The Hague, Eindhoven, Groningen and Haarlem. Accounts, tasks and payments outside the Netherlands are not supported.
8. Accounts and communications
A valid email address is required to create a Taskfly account. Account, safety and task-related emails are always sent. Marketing and newsletter emails are only sent where the user has opted in, and can be unsubscribed from at any time.
9. Trust, safety and conduct
Users must behave respectfully and lawfully. Taskfly may verify identity, moderate content, and suspend or remove accounts that break these terms or endanger the community.
10. Liability
Because Taskfly is an intermediary, users interact and agree with each other at their own responsibility. Taskfly's liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted under Dutch law.
